My name is Alissa and I'm from Connecticut. I have had a passion for art in all forms for as long as I can remember, and find that I'm happiest when in my craft studio. Though I work full-time in the field of Education, I try to find as much time as possible to pursue my therapeutic hobby of crafting, and have been fortunate to have met so many wonderful fellow crafters through HubPages, my studio and blog. When I'm not at work or in my craft studio, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, and spending time with my family, friends and two small dogs.
