How to Save Money on Coach Bags

Coach bags are one of the most popular designer brands of handbags on the market. And though they can be somewhat expensive, they can also be very tempting as new colors and designs are constantly being added to the collection. There are a few ways, however, to save a little money on Coach products. Here are a few ways:

The Coach website allows you to “sign-up” for an account with your e-mail address. You will also be given this option at a Coach retail store once you purchase a Coach bag. Though some people are finicky giving out their e-mail addresses, this is one place you will definitely want to consider. This is because you will be given access to exclusive sale events which you normally would not be aware of (Coach very rarely has bags on sale), invitation-only special events, and coupons. Coupons are randomly sent throughout the year and especially on your birthday and come in your regular mail usually in a post-card, tri-fold card. They are typically 25% off your total purchase of $300 or more which will save you a ton of money on a new handbag.

Note: I have also found that if you purchase a bag for $298 (a very common price), Coach will still honor the coupon.

Coach has official outlet stores throughout the country. These outlet stores will save you a ton of money on handbags and accessories because prices are significantly marked down. This has nothing to do with the quality of the bag. Since Coach releases new products regularly, older products and limited editions that have been retired are then sent to outlet stores, thus enabling you to save big time.

Coach outlet stores can be found with a simple Google search or by asking a sales associate. Be very careful about online Coach outlet stores however because though many are available, most are not official Coach stores. This can lead to the purchase of fake or knock-off bags. Remember, if it is too good to be true, it probably isn’t.

Though the thought of buying a Coach bag on eBay can be terrifying, in actuality, you are more than likely better off buying a bag from eBay than any other website that claims to sell Coach bags cheaply. eBay gives you the option of purchasing brand new Coach bags, or buying used Coach bags. If you opt to buy a Coach bag that is used (but in good condition of course), you will save tremendously on price. Keep in mind that eBay has an official policy on designer handbags that protects the consumer from purchasing fake, knock-off, or “designer-inspired” products. Another good way to tell if a seller is legit is to check their rating. Those with top-ratings should make you feel comfortable, especially those with a ”Top-rated Seller” icon.
